  • Temperature is set too cold or the appliance runs at max setting >>> Turn the temperature regulator to a warmer setting temporarily.

  • Temperature is not properly adjusted >>> Please look in the initial temperature setting selection.
  • Door was open for an extended period >>> Open the door only as long as necessary.
  • A large quantity of warm food was placed in the appliance within the last 24 hours >>> Turn the temperature regulation to a colder setting temporarily.

An ice build up around the drain hole normally indicates a blockage in the drain hole of the pipe leading away from it.

Clearing the drain hole

  • To clear the drain hole first melt away any built up ice using either hot water or carefully with a hair dryer set to medium (do not to melt the liner).
  • Then poke a drinking straw down the hole moving it back and forth as you go. This action should be enough to clear any blockages and allow the defrost water to run away.

  • The appliance is touching the wall or other objects >>> Move the appliance slightly.
  • A component, e.g. a pipe, on the rear of the appliance is touching another part of the appliance or the wall >>> If necessary, carefully bend the component out of the way.
  • If the noise can be heard coming from the rear of the product and is associated with the compressor failing to start up due to an internal fault >>> Contact Glen Dimplex
